1. Acceptance
By accessing checkinternetspeedtest.com (the "Site") or using its speed test tool (the "Tool"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The service
The Tool is provided free of charge for measuring download speed, upload speed, latency and jitter of your internet connection. It runs in your browser and exchanges test traffic with speed servers operated by Cloudflare, Inc. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Tool in a way that generates abusive, automated or excessive traffic, or attempts to disrupt the Site or Cloudflare's services.
- Do not scrape, frame or redistribute the Site's content without permission.
- You are responsible for any data charges your mobile or broadband operator applies to the test traffic.
4. Accuracy disclaimer
Speed measurements are affected by factors outside our control, including WiFi conditions, device performance, network congestion and operator routing. Results are indicative estimates provided for convenience and are not a guarantee, certification or legally binding measurement of your internet service.
5. No warranty
The Site and Tool are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site or Tool.
7. Intellectual property
The Site's name, design, text and code are the property of checkinternetspeedtest.com or its licensors. Third-party trademarks (including Cloudflare) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
8. Third-party services
The Tool relies on third-party infrastructure (Cloudflare speed servers, Google Fonts). Your use of those services is additionally governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
